about me.

I’m an associate professor of philosophy at my undergraduate alma mater, Western Washington University. Before moving back to the Pacific Northwest, I spent six years at UC Riverside earning my PhD, and five years as an assistant professor at The College of William & Mary.

My scholarly work is at the intersection of ethics and metaphysics on issues of human agency. My CV and information about my research and teaching can be found on the pages at this site. You can contact me at neal.tognazzini@wwu.edu.

Outside of the ivory tower, I’m a homebrewer, Certified Cicerone®, amateur photographer, and father.
